CHP+ works with many types of organizations including schools, child care providers, medical facilities, faith-based organizations and the business community to reach people who might be eligible.

Educational materials

Posters, brochures and applications are available for organizations that serve families. Educational deskguides are available for staff. Click here for a complete list of materials that can be downloaded or ordered from CHP+.

Trainings

CHP+ trainings are offered to professionals and families. These trainings review the basics – what it is, how it works, who is eligible and how to apply – and is available for families in Spanish. There is also an advanced training for professionals interested in providing application assistance. To view available presentations click here.

Health Fairs and Local Event Support

The Department of Health Care Policy and Financing participates in events where families or professionals gather to distribute CHP+ and Medicaid information. To schedule an event, please email outreach@hcpf.state.co.us or call (303) 866-2777.

Application Assistance Sites located throughout Colorado help families apply for CHP+ and Medicaid Programs. Click here to find an organization in your area.

Advertising

CHP+ advertising includes television commercials and print ads on specific media outlets in timeslots and locations based on research and data focusing on our target audiences.
